Ada Payasam

Ingredients
Scale
250 gm – Rice Palada
200 gm – Shrutis Jaggery
1cup – Coconut milk (undiluted)
2 cup – Coconut milk (diluted)
5 teaspoon – Ghee
10 Cashew Nuts
10 – Raisins
1 teaspoon – Coconut pieces
¼ teaspoon – Cardamom powder
¼ tea spoon – Dry ginger powder
Instructions
- In a pan and add 2 teaspoons of ghee and fry raisins, cashew nuts and coconut pieces separately and keep it aside.
- To Make jaggery syrup add 200 grams of shruti’s jaggery powder and a glass of water into a pan and let it boil.
- Once boiled, add cooked rice palada into it.
- Cook well until it thickens.
- Then add diluted coconut milk(2nd coconut milk), mix well and cook.
- Add cardamom powder and dry ginger powder to this mix and stir well.
- When it becomes thicken, again now add undiluted coconut milk(first coconut milk) and mix well.
- Do not boil. Finally add all the fried cashew, raisins and coconut pieces.
- Our delicious ada payasam is ready to serve now.
