Jaggery Jalebi
Jalebi tastes authentic when made with no yeast. Especially when made with Jaggery

Ingredients

1 Cup – Urad Dal
200 gm – Shruti’s Jaggery
Oil – as required for frying
Instructions
- Wash and Soak urad dal for 5 hours in water
- Then grind it to fine paste by adding very little amount of water and keep aside. grind it to a very thick consistency. consistency thicker than vada batter.
- For making jaggery syrup Mix 200 gm Shruti’s jaggery in 2 cups of water and boil well until the syrup becomes thick.
- Take a piping bag or a clean cover.
- Fill the urad dal mix in the cover.
- In a pan pour enough oil to fry and heat it.
- Squeeze the contents into the oil in a circular pattern to make a jaggery shape , shallow fry the jilebi in medium flame.
- Take out the fried jalebis and dip them in the jaggery syrup for 30 seconds.
Sweet and yummy jalebi is ready
