Jaggery Dhal Burfi

Ingredients

200 g Green gram dhal (pasi paruppu)
200 g Shrutis jaggery
4 tsp Shrutis jaggery
1 cup Milk
Instructions
- In a pan and 200 grams of dhal and roast it till it turns aromatic and golden.
- Let it cool down once cooled, grind it to fine powder.
- Add 200 gm Shrutis jaggery powder to this flour and grind again to fine powder.
- Add 2 tea spoons ghee to a pan and heat it, once heated add dal-Jaggery mix, and stir well.
- Add 1 cup of milk to this mix and continue stirring.
- Stir continuously until it becomes thick and separates from the pan.
- Burfi mix is ready now.
- Transfer the burfi mixture into a greased mould or plate.
- Let’s wait for 30 minutes to cool down and set.
- Then cut into pieces of your desired shape, here I am making them into square shapes.
